SSRU Executives Discuss Financial Literacy Education Enhancement Initiative

Dr. Matusorn Khengkhan, Director of the General Education and E-Learning Innovation Office, Mr. Tada Svetasila, President of Junior Achievement Thailand, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Kannika Piromrat, Dean of the Faculty of Education at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, convened for a strategic meeting to discuss research promotion and development of financial literacy education. The initiative targets student teachers, school administrators, and educational personnel, aiming to equip them with financial literacy teaching methodologies that can be effectively transmitted to learners, ultimately establishing best practices within their respective educational communities. The meeting was held on November 12, 2024, at the General Education and E-Learning Innovation Office conference room.

The discussion aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, which emphasizes ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education while promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all, particularly focusing on financial literacy as a crucial 21st-century skill.

This collaborative effort will drive the development of research and innovative teaching methods in finance, enhancing essential knowledge and skills for both students and the general public, ultimately contributing to long-term financial sustainability and improved quality of life.
