Gen Ed Suan Sunandha Engages in Knowledge Exchange with Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management on Interactive Media and AI-based Learning
The Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management organized a faculty member development training focused on digital-era teaching and learning strategies on Friday, May 10, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The event took place in Computer Room 3634, Building 36, at the College of Hospitality Industry Management, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (Bangkok). The Office of General Education and Innovative Electronic Learning (Gen Ed), represented by Asst.Prof.Dr.Nutthapat Kaewrattanapat, Deputy Director for Innovative Electronic Learning, was invited to participate as a guest speaker. Asst.Prof.Dr.Nutthapat Kaewrattanapat shared his expertise on "Interactive Media and AI-based Learning," providing insights into developing interactive learning media and utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance student learning. The faculty development session employed active learning methodologies, enabling participants to practice and experiment with creating interactive educational content and integrating AI into higher education teaching. Given the significance and rapid advancement of AI technology, both educators and students in higher education must adapt and develop competencies in AI for learning, research, data analysis, synthesis, and creative academic and professional work. This initiative is crucial and has been well-received by the faculty. Furthermore, this project aligns with and supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically:
