Gen Ed Suan Sunandha Participates in the 9th SoTL Academic Seminar at Walailak University on "Evolving Pedagogies and Thai Higher Education"
At Walailak University, under the theme "Evolving Pedagogies and Thai Higher Education," Dr.Matusorn Khaengkhan, Director of the Office of General Education and Innovative Electronic Learning (Gen Ed), led a team of administrators and staff from Gen Ed to participate in the 9th Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Seminar (SoTL9). This year, Walailak University hosted the seminar from May 1-3, 2024, at the Architecture and Design Laboratory Building, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The seminar featured various engaging activities, including keynote speeches, academic discussions, special lectures, workshops, Show and Share sessions, and the Modern Education Expo showcasing educational technology and innovations. Gen Ed Suan Sunandha participated in knowledge exchange sessions focusing on general education teaching practices and innovative learning approaches from the perspectives of Learning Product Innovation, Learning Process Innovation, and Learning Services Innovation. This event provided an opportunity for collaboration and knowledge sharing with educational networks, including the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, the Knowledge Network Institute of Thailand, and several universities such as Walailak University, Thammasat University, Chiang Mai University, Srinakharinwirot University, Prince of Songkla University, Kasetsart University, Mae Fah Luang University, Khon Kaen University, King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, and Mahidol University. Moreover, the participation in this seminar supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
